Stomach Virus Flu

Gretings All, I had an RNY 1/10/06 and am feeling very sick to my stomach. I just spent a 2 day spell in a hotel room with a person that came down with a stomach virus. Here is my question. I am not sure if I feel sick to my stomach because I did not get much sleep. I am off to take a nap and just had a couple of questions. I am wondering how the flu works in our new stomachs. If things come up from your intestines, what happens to the stuff that makes it to the old stomach? (I was transected) Am I going to keep trying to throw up what is in that stomach when it can't possibly come out? I have not had to throw up since the surgery and am really scared, please pray for me and share any thoughts you have or any experiences you have had. I know I have to stay hydrated and a call to the hospital about the friend advised it takes 12-24 hours to stop vomiting. SO I am going to be very careful if it does happen. I just wanted to know what everyone else did if they have had it. K
