Ok, I admit it, I hate to exercise. I have only lost 2 lbs. in the last 3 weeks. I am getting my protien and water in and not eating anything I shouldn't. The only thing I am not doing is to exercise. Any ideas to get me going? Leeanne

I hate it too... I found I had to play around with the variables before I started to really get into it. Now, I am just picky about it. I walk... I like to go at 5:30pm, when the sun is setting- that way I get to see some beautiful sunsets daily and it is not too hot (I am in California, and if I go mid day the sun beats down on me). I also found a park near me that I like because it has a paved walking trail and not many people are there. It took me a few tries (time, location, etc) before it all "fit" with my life. Now, I like to go. I hate the excercise part, but I like everything else and that makes it a lot eaiser. So try a few short walks at a few different locations and times till you find one that works for you. Take Care, Mary

Walking outside is great, but walking in a pool is better. I do water aerobics for Fibro Patients, low impact, and you can't feel your weight or that you are sweating!! It's been a Godsend to be able to work out in the pool!! ::hugs:: Cyndi

Leeanne, I would start off walking either in a pool or outside. I go to curves 3 times a week & love it. It is low impact but you definitly feel like your getting a work out, it is fun also. Good luck finding something you enjoy. Carly

This is the hardest for me as well. I have mobility issues so walking outside is very difficult for me. I did get a treadmill and have started to use that but it's very slow. My doctor said just try to increase one minute each week. Right now I'm up to 5 minutes and I do it about 3 times a week. Hopefully over time this will increase but at least I'm doing something. Good luck to you! Regards and hugs, Ronna
