Just a quick generic question -- I've been using a tanning bed for a couple of years now and find that on the level one beds, I don't tan evenly down my sides -- guessing because my size (although that's changing). How do the rest of you get an even tan?

When I do use the beds (im from the beach) I use a few different ones. I will use the stand up beds, which work wonderful for us plus size gals.. then I use the beds that you always have to pay extra for, im sure you know what I mean.. I dont really use the regular beds anymore, I just dont tan in them. Hope that helps! Michelle

I had the uneven tanning bed problem even when I wore as size 13 in high school!! I thought it was just the inevitable make of a fake tan. I was wondering though if the tanning bed would hinder the elasticity in our skin and cause more loose skin. Any ideas? Dawn

Thank you all for your reply. I know that was a goofy question, but I had to ask it. I always thought the whiter sides was because I didn't really fit well into the bed. However, I noticeably fit better and still had the lighter sides. I've actually used all levels of the beds, however for any above a Level I, it's extra and I don't always want to pay the extra. I guess I will, though, so I'm not horribly striped. LOL. I'm not sure of the effects of the tanning on the tone and elasticity of the skin, however, I do know that I prefer my tan, saggy skin over the white saggy skin any day and always have. LOL.
