Anyone have this problem??? Help!
Nicole,
I have always been prone to sinus infections. My Dr. told me to get a saline spray and use it daily. You can get it over the counter at any pharmacy. It's not the saline for contact lenses. It's in with the nose sprays and such. It really does work--you have to inhale it & spit it out your mouth. It breaks up all of that snot. If I don't use it I have drainage all day & then my stomach gets full of snot!! Lovely huh?? Then you don't feel like eating.

Hi, I think I had a similar thing happen. I'm a revision patient (VBG to RNY on Jan 27). Well, I've had a bit of a cold lately and a couple of days ago I tried to (brace yourself for gross imagery) snort the snot down my throat. About 30 seconds after I did this I had an immediate sensation of nausea overcome me and I ran to the bathroom and dry heaved for about 30 seconds. It was strange because nothing like this has happened to me ever in my life. Still don't know what to make of it.
