I have Issues!

Kay, Many people experience depression after surgery. I'm on Lexapro and the doctor said to stay on it post-surgery to deal with the stresses that post surgery will bring. In fact it's one of the few RX's I'm still on. Talk to your doc, maybe a happy pill is the answer just to take the edge off. This did it for me. Ronna, I wanted to ask about any side effects to the Lexapro that you've experienced. I plan on calling my doc's office today to ask for something for my HORRIBLE mood swings and general pissy attitude, which is very much unlike me. Just because it can be a normal part of this surgery doesn't mean that I (or my family) has to suffer through with it. My main concern is the loss of libido -- is that something that happens with the Lexapro? I just found my libido after years of an abusive marriage and years of hormonal birth control. LOL -- I don't want it to depart again so soon. Thanks for any info you can give me.
