Not sure what to say

I'm going to a 3 day conference next month and my boss needs to know if I have any food restrictions. He doesn't know that I had WLS only that I had a surgery. I do not want him to know. By the time the conference comes around I should be on all foods but it is still touch and go with everything. Sometimes I puke sometimes I don't. Any suggestions? Thanks Christina

I dont think there's any need to disclose your surgery. It sounds like he is asking so the hotel can be aware of allergies, special needs. I'd respond with 'low carb' and that will get you what you need. If you have any allergies mention that, too. I am allergic to fish so I always am clear up front on this..HTH and enjoy the conference!!

I agree with Tiffany, just say low carbs/low fat for now and if when it comes time for a comany dinner or lunch, and there's stuff you can't eat, order a soup or something you know you can eat and say you are just getting over a cold or something and want to "eat light".
