Do you even remember the bad times?

Hi Kristie, I had discomfort during surgery and took pain meds but looking back I dont perceive any of it as 'bad' or negative. I look at it as my rebirth and see the problems I had pre-op as more painful than the physical transition. Fortunately I dont puke, have BM issues or anything like that. My energy has returned to normal levels and I feel great about myself, my decision and where I am going. I was healthy pre op and I am healthier now. That's extra powerful in that this was my only medical surgical procedure in my life - no operations, birth, or other. I need to bond with the gym and that is ahead. Tomorrow I am using the comp pass to a new rec center a few blocks away and have been on the treadmill a bit (ie, not much). I leave for a week in Berlin on Monday so I will be super busy on that trip; I travel extensively and need to stop using that as an excuse not to exercise as I have the oppty to use some super nice health clubs. This is the only bad habit I have not turned around. YET! ~Tiffany
