May I ask what type and brand of vitamins everyone is using? Currently I am taking: 1) Optisource Bariatric Chewable Vitamins (4 daily...but sometimes I forget and only take 3...bad girl!) 2) Kirkland Calcium Citrate (500mg) with Vitamin D, Magnesium and Zinc (2 a day, broken into two 4 jagged, hard to swallow pieces ) 3) Puritan's Pride Sublingual B-12 (500mcg) twice a day. Do you find it's easy to get the vitamins in? I feel it would be a lot easier if I could just take them twice a day instead of several times a day. Chele

I take Sams club childrens chewables 2 times a day and Viactiv chewable calcium 2 times a day. Also one biotin a day and b12 sub from Trader Joes every other day, they are 1000g or some huge amount. All are 2 times the recommended dose and the vit. seem to have the highest levels of ALL vit I have checked. Also they are what my surgeon said to take.

Hi Chele, I am taking: Centrum chewables (once in morning) Viactiv chewable (once in morning, once at night) GNC liquid B12 (once in morning) But that is it. So it is not so hard to remember at times since it is not that many. The viactiv I treat as a snack because I have the caramel flavor so I look forward to those. ~Dawn 340/308/280/150

I take 2 centrium childrens chewables, 1 bariatric iron, 4 calcium citrate calciums, 1 sublingal b-12 once a week. There have been days I have not got them all in since going to work. I find taking everything so many hours apart along with getting in all of my water and food to be one of my most trying chores lately.

All you Viactive takers... I was told by my surgeon to avoid calcium carbonate because it isn't as easily absorbed...and to go with the Calcium Citrate. However, I do have a box of Viactives in my cabinet and eat one occasionally. YMMV! Chele

Yup. Plus, they are like "legal" treats in a way (cuz they're yummy). So the way I see it...if we only absorb 10% of the carbonate, we can have MORE Viactive chews? (kidding of course) Chele

It does seem like a lot, doesn't it? I also take three other medications every day as well as my vitamins. I think I'm going to get one of those pill holder boxes. That may help. Chele

Well, I'm supposed to take... Flintstone's with Iron, 2x per day Iron, 3x per day - (I have about a week left) Calcium citrate, 3x per day Sublingual B12, 2x per day. I don't remember the amounts, I just got my vitamin orders this week. I have to get to the store tonight to pick them up and try to figure out a schedule. I heard before that you can't take calcium or iron with anything else. They sure don't make vitamins easy... I am wondering if this is what my body needs to start losing again. I'm hoping my body will react well to more nutrients???

Hi Chele I also take the Optisource Vitamins - 4/day. I take 2 in the morning and 2 at dinner time. I have to add a 325mg Iron pill - that's new as of today. That's it. Regards and hugs, Ronna
