Chele, I am the SAME way! I only like water and decaf coffee! I hurry to the gym and/or get the kids to school in the a.m. and find myself leaving it. I am always putting my water bottle back in the fridge because it's hot and getting another out. I sip here and there but find myself at the end of the day sighing because I only got in 20-30 oz! I have NEVER been a big drinker and usually just drink about 30 oz a day anyway. I don't know how to change this!! I work hard sipping - I truelly do but in fact the truth is I'm in the same habits I was before! I just am not a drinker. I don't know what to do! Julie

I have a 1L bottel and 2 1/2L bottles I put them in the freezer until they start to get a bit of ice in them. And than I put them in the frige and of course I have my pot of decaff this is 64 oz. So I am getting in between 80 oz + of fluids a day. I found out the hard way 32oz of fluids and you are asking for IV fluids from the hospital and it is no fun sitting there for 4 to 5 hours while you receive it. Besides if you are not getting in AT lease 64 oz the greater the chance of having kidney stones develope. Along with tissues breaking down. My bottles are with me every where I go around the house, in the car, and out side and I drink, drink, drink. And also my coffee cup. Good luck on trying to get in, it is hard at first but it will be come second nature after a few days. Hugs, Lynda

This is what I do... or try to do every day with my fluids. I HATE tap water and stale tasting water.. so I buy the 16.9 ounce bottles of water. In order to get all of my fluids in, I just need 4 of them a day. I take one out as soon as I get up and carry it with me during my morning routines. Once that is done, I allow myself to eat breakfast. Then I am on to bottle number 2. Then lunch. Bottle 3. Dinner. Last bottle before bed. If I get bored with the water, I just add in one of the several different flavors of crystal light. It has been working really well for me for the most part. It helps me keep track of what I am taking in. HTH!! Cherise

What a great sense of humore you have. But seriously, the last week I have been having trouble with fluids for the first time since surgery. I mean I came home from the hospital being able to get all my fluids in and now I get bored with the taste of everything. I have to keep switching up so that I want to drink more. And I was a heavy drinker before surgery, so I know I can do it if I can just find the right drink/drinks. Currently I drink more diet peach snapple than anything else, but it gets boring too. Maybe you should try to get 15 min. intervals in a couple times a day where you can just keep a bottle in your hand until you have finished it. Maybe if you don't sit it down until you finish you will do better. Sylvia

I can really relate. Getting in my fluids is a chore, well, eating is too, but the fluids I havent been able to reach my daily intake goal regularly yet. I find it much eaiser to drink my breakfast then eat it though... so in the morning I usually have a glass of Carb Countdown milk and then a glass of SF orangeade. I try to drink as much after my last meal, but before bed as possible too... But, like I said, its not working for me. Youre not alone... the tips others shared seemed sensible, so if anything works I will let you know

The only fuids I drink anymore are the propel waters, my favorite is black cherry and the other is the melon, I have tried the grape and berry but the others are still my favorites. I bought 2 of the 23.7 oz bottles witht he lids that you can open and sip from, I found this really helped me to sip instead of chug!! I drink about 3 of these a day, or I should say I refill them about 3 times a day, I buy the 6 packs at Walmart, they are cheaper there. I still have a hard time eating, since nothing sounds good, but I am trying my best. The drinking part is so much easier for me to do!! HTH. Steph
