Hello Everyone, Sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. I wanted to Thank Everyone who emailed me and wished me luck on my surgery. I forgot I have my other email account on here and it's one I really never get a chance to read and so yesterday I went through 60+ emails all of which were filled with love and support...so I am so Thankful that I have met so many wonderful people here on the OH forums. Well, I started my journey about 360lbs, was down to 347lbs after surgery, then 318lbs a couple of weeks ago. I don't have a scale and I am debating on getting one. I have my weight checked at the University Health Clinic and I was due to go there this week when....Aunt Flo decided to show, and let me tell you it's been pretty darn bad! It's the heaviest since a very long time, so I think my body is catching up since I have NEVER been regular in my life besides the times on the BC. So, I think with my weightloss Aunti Flo is catching up on her visiting all at once!!! I hope to get back into the swing of things as I was walking at least 2miles a day. For now I'll ride my stationary bike for about 20/30mins just to stretch out the muscles in the legs...and when the weather stops showering and when Aunt Flo starts to dwindle I'll be hitting the pavement again. I know I am still losing weight since my 26/28 pants are no longer stretched to the limit, in fact when I put them on...they just slide on, before it was like I was popping out of them and these were the stretch pants!!!! So, I feel a victory there since I am sure I was well out of 26/28 pants prior to surgery. Shirts are starting to be alot looser and I just have an overall energy...well besides this week. Anywho, i am doing good...loosing over 40lbs in alittle over a month is just outstanding for me!! I wish everyone that had their surgery in January the best of Luck. I've been doing some reading and it's great to see the progress everyone is making. Take Care and Keep on Loosing!!! Oh, and I found a really good cookbook, which I am sure many of you have read: Eating Well after Weight Loss Surgery...yummy recipes which I can't wait to try when I am on solids. Also, I bought Weight Loss for Dummies, I wish Ihad this book prior but there are still some interesting topics for after surgery and they also have recipes in there as well. Thought I'd just post in case some of you are looking for good cookbooks or further information. Kelli

Good to hear from you! I have leafed through "Weight Loss for Dummies" (as my good friend has it) and I would like to pick up a copy. There is lots of valuable information in that book! Congrats on the weight loss and keep up the good work! Chele
