Google Yourself....

Hi - I saw this on the main board and thought it worth passing on, especially for those of you who have your full name listed in your profile. If you google your name, your OH profile will be an option. FYI if privacy is important to you, we put some pretty personal details in our profiles and may not want it shared with the world. ~Tiffany

Thanks for posting this. It's the main reason I don't keep an updated profile on here because of fear someone will find it from my job. Some folks are just not supportive and I don't need the added stress.

it may take a few days to clear out. Google - like other search engines - cache pages which means they get a snapshot and store them so it is readily available. They are updated frequently. Also, it may be saved in your temp files so you dont have to hit the internet with each query, as a 'convenience' its saved on your computer for easy retreaval. Go under tools, internet options and then clear history. See if you still appear when you google. I have to change my website onto something else that does not have my name. My job is very high profile and if someone found those pictures of my surgery incisions I'd be mortified.
