Are you content with your new lifestyle? (meaning every PERMANANT change this surgery made) Me: An emphatic YES!! I would have never thought that I could transition to eating healthy 7 days a week, exercising, and drinking so much water; but in all honesty, not only was the transition easy, I LOVE IT!! Dawn

Hi Dawn, My answer is definitly YES!! I'm so happy with the changes and the changes to myself. I never thought I'd look forward to exercising and watching what I eat. If I had to do it again I would. Carly

I am very happy with my new lifestyle. I usually don't have a problem with the eating or the exercising and my transition wasn't difficult at all. I am battling some head hunger right now, but overall, I feel better than I have in quite some years.

The mature adult in me says yes, by all means. The health benefits are too numerous to mention, the compliments I get are awesome...but, there's a little kid in me, stomping my feet because I went to eat normal again. I want to gulp a drink down, I don't want to think about every bite I put in my mouth. Going back, never.

Christie, I am with you all the way. I din't express my "childish temper" but I feel it! But also like you said, i have NO REGRETS whatsoever, i just need to get used to this change, everything is all so new right now. Karyn

Great question and the answer is absolutely yes!! I have found the transition fairly easy (despite still getting sick every couple of days) and would never go back. I, too, am battling some head hunger, but I'm working on the emotional eating cues now so that when my menu choices are more varied, I can deal with them appropriately. Anyway, I am thrilled that I did this and look forward to continuing on this journey with the wonderful friends here on OH! Lisa S.

I am thrilled. I still haven't really started excercising though. My bad!

HI all, I'm really happy that I did this. My life is so much better. Health and energy. The not being able to eat things I ate before doesn't bother me. I just eat what I can keep done. No Problem.....

I am a lurker but decided to post... I am very content so far with my surgery progress and would do it all over again. That being said - Renee (I love your name, it is my middle name) everyone is different! I am not going to flame you! Your progress so far is great! Your body is adjusting to this drastic change in your anatomy and just needs time. Hope you all have a great day! Rhonda -44lbs.
