I ate a whole chocolate cake!

I had a dream....okay a nightmare that I ate a whole friggin' chocolate cake. It felt so good eating it, but I literally jumped outta my sleep, had sweat beads because........I was terrified of dumping!! I am kinda scared of food now, and will look at it like it's anthrax if I didn't make it or bring it. All because I'm afraid to dump! I had a similar dream that I swallowed gum and woke up crying. I can laugh about it now, but it wasn't funny that particular night! Anyone else had similar dreams? April

YES!! I have VERY vivid food dreams quite often. One night I had a dream that I was eating blueberry cobbler. I could see it, taste it, smell it. It was so vivid that I could SEE the sugar granules on top of the cobbler part of the dessert. The funny this is, I'm not overly fond of blueberry cobbler! Granted, I would eat it, but it definitely wouldn't make my list of my top 20 favorite desserts! Glad to know I'm not the only one

April, I dreamt about swallowing gum too. I was freaking out. In the dream I was more worried about being reprimanded for not following the guidelines than anything. Dawn

Hi April, I had the dream before about swallowing gum and that I had to have another surgery. It felt so real until I woke up. Carly

The second week post op I dreamed of cheese every night for a week. It was very odd. Since then I've not had food dreams but see myself dumping when I smell sugar, its a fear and panic feeling.

I have had no dreams about food DANG IT!! I really liked the thought that we would get to eat anything and not gain weight. I think it's a really good posting week here on the January board. I am learning so much. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! Thanks so much for the posts everyone. ~Kristie
