I am trying to find other ways to get my protein in besides my usual menu. Have any of you tried Hard Boiled Eggs or Pickled Eggs? If so, have you had any trouble with the egg plugging your stoma? I would like to make pickled eggs, I use equal parts of beet juice, vinegar and sugar. I have never dumped and would like to keep it that way. I am not sure if the sugar will be too much? I would like to try to calculate the carbs if I make these. The vinegar has about 15 carbs per cup, sugar has 200, I am not sure about the beet juice. According to fit day, a cup of pickled beet has twice as many carbs as regular beets. I am not sure how to translate that to the egg mixture? Does anyone have any suggestions? God Bless, Jen

I think I will try a small batch with Splenda, then I would not really have to worry about being carbed out or dumping! God Bless, Jen

I bought a salad that had a whole hard boiled egg on top (sliced). It was a little dry of course and it sucks that we can't have anything to "wash" it down with. So I put some FF ranch dressing on it and did fine. I only ate half of it though because I wanted to eat some of the salad too. Dawn

I have had HBE a few times from the salad bar, they have a firmer texture and like anything, you have to chew, chew, chew.
