Boys, boys, boys...
Jaci~
OMG I totally know where you are coming from. Putting the whole obesity thing aside, I went to a very small elementary school and no one "dated" anyone, we were all friends. When it was time for high school I was like, "what the heck", somehow I had missed that window that everybody did their "firsts". Here I was a virgin by every meaning of the word and everyone around me had been there and done that. It made it even more intimidating to have a boyfriend because I didn't want them to know my secret. In time I dated a few boys only to dump them before it got too close to them wanting to take the relationship anywheres. I was titled the "d**k tease" of the school. Looking back, I am happy that I didn't give myself freely to anyone that would take it. But it really can make for some scary uncomfortable situations.
Now that I got all THAT out....WOOHOO you're becoming a sexy mama!!! Just wait until you get those jeans I sent you...they make your butt look HOT!!!
Love ya,
Dawn

I completely know what you're talking about. There were maybe 9500 people here while I was in grade school... yeah, there some "couples" but nothing major. Once High School started girls went crazy for the seniors and guys became jocks and only went for the rail thin chickies. Hormones!
LOL, I've lost my butt, will those jeans help me find some?? lol
Jaci, it's been quite a few years since my dating years, but I would definitely agree with giving it a try in a public, non-threatening place (i.e. Starbucks, etc.). As stated, it's an hour of your life and there's no preconceived notions on what should happen at the end of the encounter if it's in a fairly platonic place like a coffee shop. I say go for it and have fun! You're only young once!!
Congrats!!
