Spring Break

My BF is coming down to the beach to stay with me next week. I am so excited. We have been best friends since we were 9! I moved away 6 years ago but we still talk daily and visit each other alot. She's recently divorced (we caught her lying cheating husband and got him on tape!) and has had a rough time. She only has medicaid and cannot afford anything else and she started college. She NEEDS this surgery so badly and wishes she could have it. Right now she's on the 6 month diet required by her insurance and hoping to get approved. Please keep her in your prayers. But I'm excited because she's visiting with her 3 kids. Felicia, 16 and Sarah, 8 and Daniel 2. We are going to have so much fun my boys and her kids. We will go to the beach, play games, play putt-putt and go to the Y and take them skating. I've got a busy week planned for us all. I might not get to check in as much as I usually do but know I'll be right back in the thick of it after spring break is over! I just wanted to share with you all my excitement about this week and she is going with me Thursday for my 2month checkup with my surgeon. Julie, Today I bought some Tylenol Cold Liquid (day and night formula),Sugar Free Tussin, tissues, Sugar Free Ricola and Sugar Free Halls. Sheesh...I must have spent over 30 mins in the cold meds isle at Walgreens today, trying to figure out what I could take! Hugs, Chele

Sounds like a fun time! I will pray for your friend, is she a member here on OH.com? I found it to be a nice support system before my WLS and when I was doing a pre-op diet. Have a fun week!
