PILLS - CHEW CRUSH OR SWALLOW

Have you tried the Claritin Fast Melts. Those work well, hardly tastes like anything. Dana

That's a good suggestion, however, I take the Claritin for the "D" part and they don't make the melts with the "D".

This morning I dropped one of my Calcium capsules in water to see how it would dissolve in my stomach and how long it would take. When I got home this evening at 4 pm, the capsule was in tack and very soft. I think I will continue to open up the capsule and consume the calcium powder inside. Beth

HI Beth, Considering that we do not have all of the normal digestive juices in our pouch as a normal stomach does, it makes sense to me that pills will not easily disolve in the pouch. This is what concerns me over taking a pill. I actually tried a capsule, actigall, it got stuck and what a mess that was for me. I guess I am going to continue chewing and will crush the new vitamins I want to add. God Bless, Jen
