Getting Together?

A while ago someone mentioned possible going on a trip somewhere together in the future. I can't remember who posted that. Has there been anymore plans? I think it would be so cool to meet each other. Leeanne

I think it would be too. I am going the 1st weekend of April to meet most people from my state. They are having their 4th annual Bama Bash at a state park. I'm driving the 5 hours to go and spending the weekend. I am so excited!! So it would be cool to meet everyone here too. Hugs, Julie

That would be awesome! We go to PA every June/July and December. We will be in NYC in August. And we go to Fl about every other year or so. If y'all want to come to TX, you are welcome here. I have a fairly large house (2900 sq ft) and some extra beds and a few sofas and a good size back yard (for this area).... of course this is Houston and there are some very nice hotels here. There are some great day spas, museums, theaters etc. We are the 4th or 5th largest city in the us. God Bless, Jen

Yeah, there were plans in the works, but I think it ended up being way more money than I could afford. I am willing to drive anywhere, and maybe fly, but I can't afford a big trip to Mexico, or a cruise. Pick a time and place. and I'd love to come! It will be nice to "show off" to others who understand how far you've come and how much it took to get there...

It sounds like a great idea. I live in Niagara Falls NY and we have wonderful summers, great hotels, casinos, the FALLS of course, state parks, the Erie Canal, the best of the best. Buffalo/Niagara International Airport has all the major carriers, plus Southwest, Jet Blue ect. so it is easy to get to. We would love to have it here. Karen

I know on the MI board, they book cruises I believe, two years ahead of time. That way, they gradually pay for it (like layaway? ) and by the time it rolls around, it's paid for. I'd be interested! I'd love to meet everyone! Chele
