Ok, whenever I eat or drink something I can feel a sharp- not so much painful, but uncomfortable feeling in my chest... well, more like near my breastbone. This is new and happened all yesterday and this morning. It happens with every bite/drink (from the first to the last). I have heard people mention they get a pain the breast bone area if they eat too much, but this happens first thing in the morning. The feeling is breif, and only is when the food/fluid is "going down" then I am fine. Any ideas as to what is going on? Anyone else experience this?

My doc told me that our pouches are right behind our breastbones now. I would suggest calling your doc and seeing what he says, or speak to a nurse even. Dawn

I notice the pain when I take to big a sip or bite. It also happens and lasts for hours if I had over eaten and then I vomite. So I STOP when I start feeling that I have eaten to much. Karen

Call your doctor. I get that feeling when I eat too fast or have taken that bite too much and know that I'm going to vomit. But every time you eat or drink is not right. Call the doctor.
