Bad Breath

This is a question I really need help with. My 12 year old daughter told me yesterday that the only part of me having surgery that she doesn't like is that now I have bad breath all the time! Does anyone have a recommendation to help this problem? I have tried breath mints but I can't suck on those all the time. What, if anything, are you doing about this "problem?"
