1) Who is your Hero? (My DH...he is the kindest, most gentle, patient, loving soul I know.) 2) What is your occupation? Would you change it or not? (Currently a Stay at Home Mom aka taxi driver, doctor, nurse, mediator, maid, chef, judge and jury all in one. Formerly, QA and Training Manager in Information Technology. Would I change things? Depends on what day you ask! Seriously, I wouldn't trade this time with my babies for all the Crystal Light Tea in China. My career will always be there for me, but my babies are only little for such a short period of time. Do I like management? Yes I miss it tremendously, at least certain aspects. What did I always wish I had gone into in terms of a career? Medicine (as in physician).) 3) What is your favorite TV show? (I like "Wife Swap" and "Trading Spouses" a lot. I have been watching American Idol and no, I have no idea what "Bucky" is still doing on the show! ) 4) Have you lost any relationships over your decision to have WLS? (none that I am aware! At least not at this point in time.) Chele

I love these questions and reading all of the answers 1) Who is your Hero? Right now, in this moment, it is my stepmother. She is bravely and courageously fighting lung cancer. She is so positive and has a terrific outlook. 2) What is your occupation? Would you change it or not? I am a stay at home mom and have a small daycare in my home that I will be closing in the nest week or so. I would not change my career for anything, in another life (or so it seems) I was the Director over a few groups within our company. I worked 80+ hours per week. I would never go back to that. If I ever go back to work, maybe I'll work for the school district whne my kiddo goes to school. Sometimes, I have thought about getting a job just to get out of the house a bit, like at a gift shop or grocery store, something that has evening hours when hubby could be with the baby. 3) What is your favorite TV show? Extreme Home Makeover, Veronica Mars, Wife Swap, In-Touch 4) Have you lost any relationships over your decision to have WLS? No, thank the Lord.

Jen, I am so sorry to hear about your stepmom, that is one terrible disease. A very close friend of mine lost her mother and father to lung cancer in the same year. I will keep your stepmom in my prayers. Karyn

Hi Karyn! These are great questions!!!! 1) Who is your Hero? *** I haven't really decided if I have a hero right now, does that make sense? I'm just feeling the connection with anyone or persons yet. 2) What is your occupation? Would you change it or not? *** Well, right now, I'm at Jack In The Box, so yes I'd change it in a heartbeat! I can't wait to get out of school and teach music. One day I plan on being a part of the New York Philharmonic or Blast! 3) What is your favorite TV show? *** So many to choose from! But I'd definately say a toss up between Numbers and Grey's Anatomy 4) Have you lost any relationships over your decision to have WLS? *** I don't know if the surgery is what did it in, or if it was the straw that broke the camel's back... but I lost a deep connection with a fellow rabbit breeder and just hate it. But, oh well..... I'll have to get over it sooner or later! BUT, there seems to be people who never showed any kindness to me coming up more often- this is a bit weird lol. So there are two sides to every decision.

Jaci, I LOVE Grey's Anatomy! I admit I dont always get to see it( I forget when its on sometimes) But the few times I have been lucky enough to catch it, I really enjoyed it. Karyn

Boy am I getting here late again?? oh well, I am here nonetheless!! 1) Who is your Hero? My hubby, he is the one that totally completes me! 2) What is your occupation? Would you change it or not? I am a stay at home mommy, I have 3 little ones, 5,4,and 21 months, I will have the oldest 2 both in school this next year and I am going to enroll in school to further my medical career, I am going to take surgical technician courses so I am stoked about that, however I love being at home with the kids, I agree with Chele that they are only little for so long and I cherish these moments! But on the other hand I want some new toys so I want to work and save for them too!! 3) What is your favorite TV show? I love the Amazing Race, and Grey's Anatomy, and Survivor!! 4) Have you lost any relationships over your decision to have WLS?
