First "Wow" Moment
I want to thank everyone for the support and encouragement!
Jen, a seroma is a fluid filled area which surrounds a wound like an incision. It just develops for some reason after surgery. It is painful and if it doesn't go away, is drained via needle aspiration (I have had it drained twice thus far). Eventually, the body gets the hint that it needs to heal and it absorbs a small amount of fluid, so...if I can keep the fluid away, that is beneficial. Unfortunately, the fluid comes back within a day of me having it drained!
It's a pain in the arse...not to mention, the abdomen!
Hugs,
Chele
