It must have taken me 40 minutes trying to figure out just what to buy at Walgreens last weekend! I was so flustered at the end, I think I just grabbed something and left somewhat in a huff. I ended up with Ronna's suggestion...the Tylenol Liquid stuff...it's blue (absolutely nothing in nature is that hue of blue, so you'll know it when you see it). I also bought a Nightime Diabetic Tussin. I hope you feel much much better very soon. I am still sick m'self and I know how miserable it can be! Hugs, Chele

I use dayquil also. It is great. I take the pills. Doc checked, it takes less than a minute for them to desolve, so no getting stuck. I used them a few weeks ago. Oh, and most alkaselzer, not sure of the cold, but most have asprin in it, the main no no we have.

Try Tylenol Cold and Flu, it works really nice. I haven't tried Nyquil I was told it to try to stay away from the Alcohol. Get Better Soon! Jenn

I was where you are last week and I used Tylenol Cold and Flu during the day and also my doc said that half an adult dose of Nyquil was okay for evening. That worked great for me. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Elsa - sorry you are feeling so poorly. Just this week I discovered that I can take my calcium without cutting it in half; caplets are no problem. Not suggesting that you do that, but maybe you are ready for caplets. Sylvia

Elsa Good question.... I just called my surgeon office today. After returning back to work last week i caught a cold from my residents at my senior facility where I work. My surgeon suggested any tylenol based cold medicine I bought "Tylenol sinus cold medicine for $5.49 for 48 caplets and Vitamin C 500 mg and Zinc 50 mg.......Zinc is supposed to help with healing faster from a cold, Vitamin c enhances the immube system.....Hope this help Suzan
