I miss exercise!
Wednesday I had it set in my mind that I was going to sweat and burn some fat. I was 1 lb from losing 50 lbs.
So I went to the fitness center and changed up my normal schedule (30 mins of treadmill and 10 mins of bike) to 20 mins on the treadmill and 20 mins on the bike.
About 3 mins before I finished my work out, my knee gave way. It was like a snap. As determined as I was, I still made myself continue until I completed the full 20 mins.
Now I regret it. I was just able to walk back to my place. Since then the pain is excrutiating, especially when standing and moving around after I have been idle for a while. And I will not mention what it is like when I get in and out of the car. My doctor seems to think that I pulled a tendon or ligament and it should heal within the week.
So I know that I can't have Ibuprofen for the inflammation, so I am putting ice on it as much as I can when I am home.
I just miss my exercise so much because I can see big results when I am sweating. I didn't meet my goal on Wednesday morning - but I did today! . I am at -51. In just 3 more pounds I will be below 300.
