Will I fit?????????

I have to go to Oakland CA today (last minute trip) to work. And, this is the first time I am getting on a plane in a long time. I am so scared. I do not know if I will fit in the chair or have the embarrasment of needing a seatbelt extension. I will just be mortified. I am 5'5 and 259 lbs. I am currently wearing some 14/16 and 18's. So what do you think, and please be honest? ~Dawn (scared)

Dawn, I'm 5ft 8 and my highest weight (on a plane) has probably been 265 as a size 16/18. I never needed a seatbelt extension and never had problems fitting into chairs or behind booths, etc. We're all built differently, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. Have a safe trip, Chele

Yea, youll be fine. I fit in when I was a size 26. Im short but still youll have plenty of room. GOOD LUCK!!! ELSA

Sounds like you will fit! I never needed an extension but I was always slimmer in the hips and thighs and wore an 18/20 on the bottom. Good luck!

I am sure that you will fit fine... I have always carried my weight in the middle.. the last time I flew I was 274 and wore a 24-26 on the bottom... I had to stretch the belt to the end.. but I fit and never needed an extension. I am flying to Washington next weekend and am actually looking forward to seeing a difference.

Dawn Don't worry...... Two years ago I wore a size 24-26 and I'm 5'9. I personally have never seen anyone that might need it use one....I know Southwest, Hawaiian Airlines, and United are pretty good that I have seen........Suzan.
