Everyone!! Check out this WLS website I found..Ive looked at the Books, and food materials- and I love it - There are several books that I recommend- like Pat Levine's cookbook + Successful habits of WLS patients and a companion workbook & even a WLS cookbook by Carnie Wilson..plus they sell Optisource products- which are made for absorption by the WLS patient- I've used the Vitamins- they are chewable- and citrus flavored - they also have Revival Soy products- you have to check out the RS crackers - one surgeon provided them at recent reunion- in all the flavors and all the patients went nuts- every flavor was better than the next! Oh - and they also sell Nectar & AnyWhey proteins..The AnyWhey is unflavored- and can be used in cooking and preparations - so thats another way to get protein in! AND the Nectar is my favorite..It is based on "fruit like" flavors - Fuzzy Navel ( Orange & Tangerine) Natural Tea ( imagine iced tea ) Carribbean Cooler ( tastes like a Pina Colada without the alcohol) ..plus they have a new flavor- Cappucino- which is supposed to be like a cold or hot latte.. Ive given up my other proteins ( like Isopure & Designer Whey) the Nectar is superb- it mixes with a spoon or a shake- and it tastes good- just add fruit and ice! And if you also have any cool websites for us to see- TELL US!! And they have medic alert necklaces as well as bracelets! P.S.- The pricing on this website- was cheaper than what I've seen at Bariatriceating.com.. I like it!! ENJOY! DONNA http://wlbss.com It includes the following: 1. Hi Suzan - Thanks for responding.. I noticed we are almost the same starting and current weights ( I am shorter) LOL and also checked out 3FC website- my first time there- amazing that it took me this long to find it.. its a cool site- and I liked your weight loss icon. I don't know how satisfied you are with your protein- but I like a lot of variety- which is why I posted that link- there is lot to get - and the site offers so much at a reasonable cost..Anyway- regarding protein - you should try the Nectar brands..they mix instantly- taste good..although you will need to find what works for you- Their flavors are all fruit based - strawberry/kiwi,apple ecstasy (granny smith ), Cappucino ( their new flavor) carribbean cooler (its like a pina colada ) fuzzy navel (necatarine, orange, peach) Tealicious (lemon tea- that comes close to Arizona Iced tea or even a mint julep tea) . I use the last 3 flavors listed- and LOVE them..I mix the fuzzy navel with crystal light sunrise and I just started mixing it with a bottle of Peach Propel- and it is AWESOME!..I also mix the tea flavor with Diet Arizona lemon tea or Peach tea & 1 Splenda, and its also very good. And the carribbean cooler- well I like to mix ice pops with that- some fruit- like pineapple or banana, and it works..I cant wait to try it with some Propel water..Have you tried that? The Melon tastes like a juicy slice of honeydew.. Its got me HOOKED! have a great day- Donna 325/231/145
