Healthy and lowfat Recipe Name: Berry Banana Smoothie Recipe Instructions:: 4 ice cubes 4 fresh or frozen strawberries 1 medium banana 1/2c. fat free yogurt 1/2c. low fat milk. Mix in blender and serve cold. Recipe Name: Pineapple Smoothie Recipe Instructions: 1 banana 1/4 c. yogurt 1/2 c. milk, 1 scoop (protein powder) 1 - 5oz. can Pineapple chunk & juice (These are found in packets of 4 cans by DelMonte) 1/2-3/4 cup ice cubes depending if you use the protein powder. The pineapple I have read is a great ulcer healer. I have more energy than any other mix usually til noon. Don't be afraid to mix and match this is how I got this to tasting good. You could add more yogurt or milk to your liking. Recipe Name: Fruit yogurt smoothie Recipe Instructions: 1 cup milk 1 container custard style yogurt(flavor of choice) 1 cup frozen fruit( strawberries and peaches work well) Blend milk and yogurt until smooth. Add frozen fruit a piece at a time while blender is working. My children think this tastes better than ice cream shakes. I think it has less calories and more nutritional value. Recipe Name: Avocado smoothie Recipe Instructions: (1) Scoop out 1 large avocado into blender. (2) Use about approximately 2 teaspoon condense milk (depending on how sweet you like it. Add this with the avocado (3) Then add about 1 cup of ice. (4) Now, blend all of it together until a semi creamy texture. * If you don't have a blender, use crush ice and mix it all by hand. You will have chunks. But this is still good. ( I usually do it this way because it is faster) Remember, if the avocado is exposed to the air too long, your lovely smoothie will turn a dark greenish color.
