At least you can admit it. You will do better today. Last night I ate some Funyuns (sp) I had to get rid of the bag before I ate anymore. This is the first time I have done that. It is the evil monsters fault, it's that time don't ya know... Leeanne

I think it's something about the 12 week mark. I've been carb-craving this week too. Cheetos are my downfall. Maybe we need sponsers like AA has, some one we can call when we get "the urge". What do you think? Robin 318/280/225/150?

Jen, Have you tried Soy Chips yet? They feel like you're eating potatoe chips but they have protein in then and they are really crunchy to boot. You get them at your grocery store in the health food isle. I got a bag that was parmesaen garlic flavored and they were pretty good. A bit salty for my taste but got me over my crunchy craving And each serving had 7g of protein

HI Ronna, I love the suggestion. However, I cannot do soy. I have a thyroid problem and soy can have a negative impact on the way that your body processes thyroid. God Bless, Jen

You can have soy in small amounts if you're concerned with it's effects. But when you think you think about it.....there are people who have a whole "soy lifestyle" and other countries eat a lot of soy as part of thier daily diet, so how much could it be messing us up??? I eat the soy chips but I only eat them maybe once or twice or week....nothing excessive. Just an idea. April

JJ-you've confessed and are moving on, that's the best thing. Hey, what's your recipe for the egg casserole? Sounds yummy. I agree with Ronna, try the Soy Crisps. I buy the EatSmart ones by Snyders (check near the Snyders pretzels in your grocery store). They have fewer net carbs than the GenSoy ones and have 8g of protein (7g are soy). I don't eat a full serving (20 chips is 160 calories), but eat 4-5 as a snack or use a couple to eat with my tuna. They're awesome, especially when you need some crunch! Have a great day! Lisa S.

Hi Lisa, I posted this to Ronna .... I love the suggestion. However, I cannot do soy. I have a thyroid problem and soy can have a negative impact on the way that your body process thyroid. This is how I made the egg casserole. I bought the ready made pie crusts from the freezer section, they come two in a pack. 15 Eggs 8 oz lowfat cheese - what ever kind you like - I used a mixture. 1 pound of "fresh" sausage - the kind that is like hamburger. I cooked the sausage and drained it very well. I used paper towels to press the grease out of it. Mix the eggs, cheese and cooked sausage together. Pour 1/2 of mixture into each pie crust. I baked for about 1 hour at 350. I cut it into 8 slices. Each slice has 1/2 ounce cheese, almost one egg and one ounce of sausage. It was really easy and tasted good. You could make it with egg beaters or egg substitue, I just didn't have any when I was making it. God Bless, Jen God Bless, Jen
