I sorta belong to the YMCA. It used to be the Y but then the city bought it and turned 70% of it into a senior living complex, 10% into the housing authority, and left the other 20% as the gym & pool. It is called "The Holly City Family Center" but all the signs hanging up say YMCA. I love it, and it is cheap!!! Dawn

My local one doesn't have all the things that Renee's has (like the lounge and steam room), but it is still pretty darn nice. It has treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, weight room, etc., plus it has the pool and water aerobics classes, and the regular classes from pilates to yoga to spin to kickboxing. It is $26.00/month for me, and that is for every day at any time during business hours, not one of those big gym $19.99/month, but you can only come on Mon/Wed/Fri things. Plus at the Y, they hooked me up with a free personal trainer to show me the ropes, what he thought I should be doing, etc. Now, this guy was about 18 and just graduated high school and was scrawny as heck, plus I'm more of an independent type girl so I haven't signed up to use him again, but his inital tour of the machinery and so forth was pretty helpful! Good luck!
