If you are a Susan Maria fan you may want to check this out
I did read her book and thought she was awfully pretencious and so full of herself. I discounted it and just thought that she was really proud of herself and what she had accomplished. I think differently of her now.
We have all come from the same place and should just love and support each other for who we are. If we have negative moments, that is when we need encouragement and love the most, not a slam.
I know I have had moments that I just want to give up. I may have posted a negative comment. If someone would have slammed me I probably would have given up. Instead I received support and advice to keep going.
God Bless,
Jen
It's amazing how much furor she has generated, and how much traffic over to her site. Basically is looks like a shameless bit of self promotion. My site is disneyland. I have the protein drinks that are good for you and taste the best, my book has 35000 copies out, blah, blah, blah. It is just her way of self promoting and generating business. Will be interesting to see if it works. Honestly - I'm unimpressed and will find other sites to order my products from. I'm not a fan.

well, I can't seem to find the rant, but based on what I've read on the main board, I'm not in total disagreement. I think it depends on what kind of feedback you're looking for. I've definitely seen people get flamed big time on the Main board for doing things. So, I don't think you can ask a "innocent" question and not risk getting negative feedback. Someone another forum on this site recommended that I join a Protein group (I think an MSN or Yahoo group). Anyway, she warned me that I couldn't be thin skinned when I was on there as the members are very frank and don't pull any punches when it comes to getting the right type and amount of protein in. I think that's the same thing with Susan's site. Most of the people call it like it is. If you don't like that kind of response, then you shouldn't go there. I would definitely appreciate it if someone gave me a kick in the a## if I'm not doing well. I paid a lot for this surgery and I intend to make it work. That's not to say that I am perfect or expect to me, but I appreciate it when people help me get back on track.
So, I guess the bottom line is, go where you feel most comfortable. JMHO.
