Checking in-Update
Hi all,
I've been in la-la land for the past couple weeks. My husband got home safely after 6 month deployment on the 10th of March. We have been having a great time with each other and the kids. As some of you know, he was on the last F-14 Tomcat deployment with the Navy and now they are retiring the aircraft. The homecoming was awesome, the 2 squadrons came home in a 22 jet formation and did a flyover. It was an incredible day and quite a sight to see.
My recovery couldn't have been smoother. I have had no complications at all and am down 60-62 lbs. since surgery. I'm beginning to really see a difference and am loving my new life. I just put clothes on ebay that are now too big and that felt soooo good!
I am no longer working and looking forward to a great summer with my kids including an active summer that they have missed out on in the past being in daycare.
I just scrolled back and caught up with a lot of you. Wow, everyone is doing so great! I don't think I've been the role model of the best choices, but it has been a huge turn around and I am happy with things thusfar.
Have a great weekend all,
Lisa

I think that we as a public have gotten so used to the fact that our people are out there serving in other countries that we forget how important they are. Also, you deserve a big kiss for being so supportive of him leaving to serve and spending time playing the roll of both mother and father to your children. You deserve a
!!
Your weight loss sounds phenomenal!! You most have not made too many bad choices!!
