Over the last 9 weeks I have had several "wow moments" I'm sure we all have. I was wondering what some of yours were and I will share mine so far. 1. The first thing I noticed is my skin was not so tight ....sounds strange I know but I lost my first 20lbs so fast my skin was actually loose on my arms. 2. My rings all slide on and off without lotion or soap to help. Now they slide all over and round and round my fingers. 3. Not having my legs rub together when I walk. I hated this the most. Shopping for clothes and still thinking I was a larger size. I would look at the smaller size and just know I was to big to get in them. Then I would try them on and they would fit!

Congrats on your WOW moments. I try to post mine as the uccur so I don't want to repeat and sound vein. But I'll put a couple that I haven't posted yet: 1. The trainer at the gym said, "I'm not trying to get fresh with you because I am a married man of 27 years; BUT you're a beautiful woman now so when you get down to your goal weight, your husband better lock you up!!" 2. Both my mother and a friend a church said, "You are just melting away aren't you!?" 3. My goal jeans are now getting baggy. (they weren't "goal" like after loosing all the weight, they were the first pair of jeans I was determined to fit into postop) 4. Someone came up to ME in the gym for fitness advice...WHAT??? Dawn

Hi Deborah!! You have excellent wow moments! I like to share mine when they happen too lol, but some have happened recently! 1. My skin isn't tight anymore either. I used to be solid, ick, now I'm all jiggly 2. I can now fit in size 26! 3. Today when a buddy brought her children over (I haven't seen them since December) the first one to talk was her youngest and he just said, wow, look at Jaci! Funny thing is, my buddy had surgery Jan 27 with my doctor and has lost 50 pounds so far! She's having a hard time getting to this forum, but should be here this week! She totally rocks! 4. My boss actually told me to buy a new pair of pants! Mine were too big and sloppy! LOL

1. When out in public, a man will actually WAIT to hold a door open for me, such as at a restaurant or the gas station. Where as previously, they would just hurry on in the store and I'd have to lunge to catch the door so it wouldn't slam in my face. So 55 lbs ago I was invisible? Or unworthy of a man's attention/help with holding the door for me? It's flattering, but also ****** me off at the same time. 2. I used to be hot and sweaty all the time!! Just doing the simplest things would make me break a sweat, which would be so embarassing in public! For example, just walking around the mall it would look like I'd been doing an hour of cardio. Not any more! Now I'm usually cold! I love it. 3. Not obessing over food like I used to. We have candy dishes out here wth easter candy. Before, even if I wasn't EATING the candy, I would be obsessing about WANTING to eat the candy. Now? Most of the time I forget it's there. Me? Forget about candy? Unheard of
