My MRI results....
I was able to call my doctor's office yday (they are open on Saturday's) to get the results back from my MRI.
Apparently, I have a horizontal tear of the posterier horn of the medial meniscus. I have to make an appt with an orthopedic surgery and soon. I have no experience with knee injuries and have no idea what to expect. Does anyone have any experience with this?

My husband had a meniscus tear repaired a few years ago. It was done laproscopically as same day surgery. He was sore right after but he said the pain level was so much less than pre-op. He only missed a couple days of work. But then, he's stubborn.
Just make sure you follow the surgeon's and physical therapist's instructions and I'm sure you'll have a great recovery. Do your post-op exercises and find a way to elevate your leg when you are sitting. Keep ice packs handy for when you sit too. He did sleep in a recliner for the first couple of nights post-op.
It's kinda like post-op for WLS...follow your doctor's orders and you'll be back on your feet in no time.
