OMGo****'s APRIL!! Woohoo!!! We've all come so far on this journey together!!! Well for me, I hit my 50 lb mark today! WOOHOO FOR ME Surgery Weight: 272 Last Weeks Weight: 225 Today's Weight: 222 50 lbs gone 4evah! So how did everyone else do this week?!?!?! Susan

Pre Op weight 276 Last week 233 This week 231 45 pounds down- should reach 50 lbs before 3 month check up! By the way congrats Ladybug on your 50lbs. I saw your pix- you look awesome! Susan

OH THIS REPORT SUCKS FOR ME ... PreOp 306 Last week 255.6 This week 256 Total lost 50 even GAIN AAAAHHHH ---- I don't know what is going on, I feel like I am pregnant, my legs are swollen, my fingers are swollen, my face looks puffy - jease louise.... I am sure the report will be better next week! We joined the Y this weekend, that is sure to help! God Bless, Jen

Renee, I think the Y is awesome. They have a women only facility. I went yesterday and had training on how to use the circuit facility. It is kinda like curves, there are about 12 machines and you do each of them for 75 seconds, in between you do the steps to get some cardio in. I did the circuit and figured out how all of my machines need to be set and on what weight. I am starting at really low weights to keep from hurting myself and then I won't want to go! In addition to the circuit equipment, they have treadmills, bikes, elliptical, a crunch machine, a stretch machine and some of those big balls - I think they look interesting, I am however, afraid that I would pop it!!!! The facility is really nice, 2 pools, the women's center, an area designed for those just getting over an illness/surgery/ heart attack, cardio room, weight room, bball courts, racquet ball, child care, indoor and outdoor tracks, sauna, whirlpool. We took Gracie into the pool and she hated it. I am going to have to work on her and the pool. I plan to go tonight with DH after dinner.

Jen - I battle the puffy legs and it's no fun. For me, it's not a menstrual thing becaue I'm long over that. My doctor says it's a condition called lymphedema and it's pretty mu*****urable - they says it's gravity and the water just likes to hang out in my lower legs. It sucks big time - if yours isn't menstrual-related, has your doctor offered any opinion or remedy for the puffiness? It's water retention, and water adds weight - I just wonder what is being done. I can't have any salt (no biggie - I'm not a salt person anyway) and I have diuretics that I have learned if I take once a week it keeps it down. When they were at their puffiest, the diuretics eliminated 20# of water from my legs. Good luck...

Gwen, The only other time I have ever had puffy problems is when I was pregnant. I swelled up like a balloon. In 5 days, I gained over 10 pounds - all water weight - my doc induced me that day!!!! I am going to see my surgeon on Thursday. Also seeing my gyno that day. I am going to hit both doctors with the list of questions .... GOd Bless, Jen
