Good Morning,
1. This past week breakfast has been 4oz coffee, 8oz milk, and scoop protein. I gained this week and this was the only change to my diet, I think I need to reconsider my breakfast chioce. I am using a really goo milk product called Mootopia, more protein, less sugar
Amount Per 8 oz
Calories 90
Total Fat 0g 0%
Total Carbohydrate 4g
Protein 14g
2. Like you Chele, I have a hard time with the calcium. I did buy more of the liquid this weekend which I find easier to take than the chewables.
3. My family has alwasy been supportive if the decision, we actually made the decision together, to do or not, RNY vs Band.
God Bless,
Jen
Good Morning Chele! Happy Monday! I never wake up to an alarm clock so why the heck was I suprised when I overslept by 1 hour exactly????
1. My breakfast is sometimes a protein shake, sometimes a handful of cereal with a little bit of milk or my favorite, a dannon lite and fit raspberry yogurt and 1 oz of havarti.
2. The people who count were supportive from the beginning. I do see that at work they are trying harder to not offer me food all the dang time, my first day back they asked me if I wanted to order fromt the deli! But now this one guy in the office asks me everyonce in a while if I would like something from Starbucks just so I don't feel left out. He also has to point out to all the agents in my office how great I'm looking. So yeah the support has gone up a bit since they can see the weight is coming off!
3. Faithfully? ummmm nope, I really really need to do better but I hate the vitamins! I do take my b-12 and I did buy some Iron but my regular vitamins just don't seem to make it everyday.
Happy Monday!
Dana

1. My favorite breakfast is an egg sandwich. I usually only can eat 1 slice of the whole wheat toast though.
2. I am now. For the past month or so I kept forgetting about taking them. I had to find a new routine.
3. My family has been supportive of everything I've done so far.
Great questions!
Susan

1) 1/2 c. cottage cheese, 1/2 c. cheerios with about 2 TBSP milk
2) Never miss taking my vitamins: Optisource chewable multi-vitamin (very good tasting - like candy, B12 sublingual, calcium citrate chocolate lozenges
3) Everyone in my life has been VERY supportive....friends, family, co-workers, bosses - they have been supportive ever since I first got my surgery date. I am blessed beyond belief.
Morning all!
1. I usually eat either a small egg omelette or a protein shake.
2. My husband ensures that I faithfully take my vitamins each and every day. LOL -- He goes so far as to actually drop the B-12 in my mouth for me to make sure I gag it down.
3. My family has been supportive from day 1, but more so as they see me look and feel better.
Hi Chele!!!!!!! I'm so happy your friends and family are being supportive
1) What do you usually consume for breakfast?
*** When I remember to eat breakfast, usually glass of milk or a shake... sometimes a bar
2) Are you faithfully taking your vitamins every day?
*** When I remember yes. I ran out and need to get some more!
3) Are your family members and friends more supportive about the fact that you had surgery now that they can see that you have lost some weight?
*** Yes, they are... even my sister!

1. My breakfast is usually an egg - lately I've been craving peanut butter and I don't even like peanut butter...
2. I take my vitamins every day without fail. I have a thing that holds 14 daily boxes with them divided into morning, noon, afternoon, and evening.
3. My husband is the only one who knows and he is very supportive. Co-workers just keep going "my, you're losing weight!" and I say I've been working at it for a very long time and I'm glad it finally shows. My daughter will visit in July and she will be so surprised!!
Chele, just make sure you're not taking your calcium at the same time as your iron - they have to be separated by at least 2 hours.
Take care all!!
