Ok, seems like those that have responded think it'll rock to have the daily working out/fitness posts. So...... to get the ball rolling, we need a post name. Another board uses Did You Move to Lose Today? Do we wanna borrow that? lol Ok, lets introduce our routine a bit..... 1. Do you do anything extra other then normal everyday life? 2. Does your life require you to move, so you don't need an extra work out? 3. If you do something extra, what do you do? 4. Where do you go? 5. How long do you work it? 6. Lift any weights? 7. What time do you prefer to work out? 8. How often do you attend? 9. Have a work out buddy? 10. Do you like it? *~*Jaci*~*

Here are my answers: 1. Do you do anything extra other then normal everyday life? *** I didn't use to, but now I do! 2. Does your life require you to move, so you don't need an extra work out? *** I don't work out on days I work at Jack In the Box 3. If you do something extra, what do you do? *** Circuit Weights and Treadmill 4. Where do you go? *** Joined the class at school, so I get college credits too! Whoo hooo! 5. How long do you work it? *** Anywhere from 45-60 minutes, its fun! 25-30 minutes weights, 20-30 minutes treadmill 6. Lift any weights? *** Yeah, working on 40 pounds now 7. What time do you prefer to work out? *** Monday and Wednesday I go in at 7am, Tuesday and Thursday I'm in there around 5:30 pm. 8. How often do you attend? *** At least three times a week, try for four if I don't work. 9. Have a work out buddy? *** My sister goes on Mondays and Wednesdays, I just got my buddy from Cingular to attend starting last Friday. Hopefully it'll continue! 10. Do you like it? *** I actually do!!!! I'm starting to have withdrawal when I miss a day *~*Jaci*~*

Hi Jaci!! OK first off, I must admit publicly that I do not have a great exercise routine at all. I have bought some exercise DVD's (Walk Off the Pounds, Biggest Loser Workout, and Celebrity Fit Club) but I have not used them yet. I did have a free month membership to a gym by me and while I did use it, I did not use it enough as I should have. So, consider this a "memory" version of my answers, based off of what I did for that month while I had the membership. Here it goes: 1. Do you do anything extra other then normal everyday life? Not really. I consider the long walk from my car to the office and back some exercise since I refused to walk pre-op.... grocery shopping and just plain shopping is exercise.... I know.... this is not really moving to lose... 2. Does your life require you to move, so you don't need an extra work out? No, i could definitely use the extra workout... I work in an office talking on the phone and working on a computer all day.... 3. If you do something extra, what do you do? nothing... but that has to change 4. Where do you go? I was going to a women's only gym by me called "Bodies R Us".... nice gym but very impersonal 5. How long do you work it? I was usually there for about an hour each time I went 6. Lift any weights? Yep... I love doing weight machines.... I felt more of a workout from them than from a treadmill 7. What time do you prefer to work out? Early afternoon (of course before I went back to work) but if they had a 24 hr gym that was open after midnight, I would be all over that!! 8. How often do you attend? I went about 2-3 times a week 9. Have a work out buddy? Nope, but my mom and I are going to join a gym together now 10. Do you like it? I really did enjoy it... but with my work schedule, and lack of funds right now, I could not renew.... but then again, I need to.... Jaci, thank you for posting this and holding me accountable for what I am doing. I needed this "reality check". I have already looked into local YMCA's and have emailed them for more information. Sounds like you're on the right track Chicky!!!!! I'm not parking close to anywhere anymore either! It feels great to walk doesn't it!? I'm more than happy to give you a reality check anytime! LOL Love ya too!!!! *~*Jaci*~*

Possible title for post: Did you WORK your WIGGLES off today?? 1. Do you do anything extra other then normal everyday life? I workout at my local Y 2. Does your life require you to move, so you don't need an extra work out? not at all unless you count chasing a 1 year old around and doing tons of laundry 3. If you do something extra, what do you do? see #2 4. Where do you go? LOL...see #1 5. How long do you work it? 2 hours 6. Lift any weights? On abs I do 50, on legs 60, on arms 20 on two machines and 40 on another. I do "pyramid sets". That means I start with 30 reps, then 40, then 50. 7. What time do you prefer to work out? in the morning, 10am-noon 8. How often do you attend? 5-6 days a weeks 9. Have a work out buddy? does my MP3 player count? 10. Do you like it? I LOVE IT!!! Dawn

Thanks Amber. I'm really trying my best. I don't know if you remember when I was 5 weeks out my surgeon said I wasn't exercising/loosing enough. Well I am a perfectionist so if he expects something from me, I give it 110%. I am anxious to see what he'll say when I come back on the 20th. He wanted me to loose between 24 and 32 pounds before I came back. So far I have loss 20 and still have 17 days left. (my goal is to break 32 pounds) Dawn

I have faith that you can break that!!! I have lost 25 since my last visit and have another coming up soon (I gotta call and get the date).... I have to get on an exercise routine!! Stop making excuses and get out there and just do it!! I am so proud of all of us!! We are all doing fabulous and looking great!! Now if I can just get OH to change my messageboard pic.... (been waiting about 3 weeks...oh well!) Love ya!! ~amber~

1. Do you do anything extra other then normal everyday life? yes this past weekend I went to Six Flags 10 hours on Sat and 5 on Sun 2. Does your life require you to move, so you don't need an extra work out? no I am a homemaker with 4 kids 3. If you do something extra, what do you do? I just outside with my kids 4. Where do you go? I sometimes take them tot he park and I walk the one mile trail 5. How long do you work it? I try to add another lap every other week 6. Lift any weights? I do A 5 pound dumb bell for my batwings 7. What time do you prefer to work out? afternoon and night 8. How often do you attend? n/a 9. Have a work out buddy? I usually drag my grandmother (73) where ever I go 10. Do you like it? Sometimes I get tired of it but with Spring and summer and fall here I will be at Six FLags every other wee****il summer then probably 3 times a wee****il my 4 kids- 10,9,5,4 get tired of it But I do hate to admit I am very lazy when it comes to extra exercise.
