I have a sore throat!

I just feel horrible! I have a sore throat and it's just really bothersome. I could be sniffling and sneezing and have a raging fever and be okay. But a sore throat is the pits! Any suggestions on what to take? I took some tylenol and it helped for about 2 minutes then the sore throat started again with a vengence. Thanks! April

How about some hot herbal tea with a squeeze of lemon? Or SF ice cream or SF popsicles? Gargle with warm sal****er? Suck on SF candies/SF cough drops.... I hope you feel better soon! Chele

I have one too, and the sneezing, coughing to go with it. I feel just terrible too. I called my doctor after taking Tylenol cold and flu for a week to no avail. He prescribed Amoxicillin and it is now working. You might want to try something that's not over the counter if it seems to be getting worse. I just wanted to make sure that my pouch could handle something prescriptive, and not cause an ulcer or anything. You don't want that sore throat to turn into strep. The air is so full of pollen here in Texas--my whole car is yellow. Take care. Celeste

sugar free cough drops!

I have a cure I got from Buddy Epson many years ago, but we need to change it slightly. So, here is the original way, a tsp. of honey with lemon on it. Here is a way we might use it, warm sugar free lemon aid. I used the warm lemon aid and it works great. But needs to be real lemons.
