I am having gym withdrawals! I had to go into work this am and just got home a while ago, been online since! I was thinking about going for a walk with the lamb, but its pouring here! Its flooded all over, lots of levees are broken in the town below us, I hope everyone is ok. My rabbits are getting flooded too! Luckily we have a pump for them. How you doin'? LOL Jaci

Y'all know my answer!! YUP!! Darn DH came with me today and made me 10 mins late!! I don't know why it takes that man as long as a woman to get ready. So I was there for 1 hour 50 mins today. I did 35 mins on the elliptical and 75 mins on the weight machines. I spent a lot of time working on my triceps & abs today. I am trying to avoid "batwings" and "skin folds". Dawn

I use 2 different ab machines. One you twist from side to side, the other you bend forward. On the twisty one I use 50 pounds and do 3 sets on EACH side, first 20 reps, then 30, then 40. On the bend forward one I use 50 pounds again and do 3 sets of 30, then 40, then 50. For my triceps I use the cords. I use that part. I slide the thing up so it is above my head and I change the triangle thing to a bar that looks like an upside down V. Standing strait with my arms frimly against my sides I pull down the handels to about my hips then up to my chin. I did 30 pounds. 4 sets starting with 15, then 25, 35, & 45. My triceps were on FIRE!!! Dawn (hope that wasn't too confusing)

Went to the gym and did 35 mins on the treadmill. I always walk briskly and set it on an incline. I did 10 mins on a recumbant bike and a few mins on a stair stepper. Chele

I am walking about 35 minutes a day when it is not raining!! I missed Mon and Tues. I used to go early AM but now with daylight saving time, it is too dark in the AM. Then if I wait, I lose my incentive and skip. Anyway, I was able to get out this afternoon. I really need to do more like join a gym. All of you are really active. I just don't know when I would do it! I barely have time for a 30 minute walk now with full time work and driving my daughter to and from school, and piano, viola and orchestra practices. Diana

Ahhhh, a taxi mom! My mom would take my bandmates and I to every orchestra practice, honor band, anything until I got my license! I LOVE the Viola! I so want to learn it and the cello. I have no desire to learn violin, though....
