Models 20 years ago weighed 8% Less than the average Woman. Thanks for sharing this, Dawn, its one of my favorite emails as it reminds how fabulous we are. Interestingly so, I had two super model encounters during last week's travels. From NY to LAX I sat next to one of the ladies from the VS fashion show, a beautiful dark skinned woman with a french accent. She was very soft spoken and sweet. And then in the LAX airport there were light bulbs...people in sunglasses....Cindy Crawford, DH Randy Gerber and their kids. I was immediately behind her in security for about 10 minutes. They were normal people and had to go thru the search like the rest of us. LOL!! She has an amazing figure but with those low cut jeans and her (beautiful) daughter in her arms I can tell you she has stretch marks on her hips and wears pink lace panties. And was not wearning a bit of make up and she has blotchy skin. So even those who sell beauty have the wonderful flaws/uniquities that make us individually gorgeous. Aren't we great!!??

Vil, I love your profile, woman you are gorgeous!!! congrats on the loss!! I also noticed you changed your name, that is too cute Dawn, Thanks for the post, it really helps lift a girl up I know that all those things are true but how come not many others seem to realize this when it comes to the magazines huh??? I guess one of these days all of them are going to be filled with models who are noticably anorxic and then figure out that maybe they should put some "real" women in them.
