What were you thinking while going under aneastesia???

I was so anxious for it finally happening that I didn't really think about anything. The OR was 5 hours behind schedule that day. The last thing I remember was asking why it was so cold and the nurse explaining why. Dawn

They gave me 2 doses of loopy medicine before I went to the OR to help calm me....except I wasnt at all nervous, but I thought ok I will take the legal drugs for now. I then remember the nurses asking me to hop on us to the table and I laid down and just said "good night ladies" and that was it, I dont remember a mask or anything being put on me. The next thing I remember was a nurse asking me to move one of my legs cause they were trying to remove my catheter and then I woke up some hours later in my room. After that the night was a blur, I vaugly remember family coming and going, but I do remember that later in the middle of the night I got bored and went for a stroll around the hospital. You know everythkng happened so fast. I remember them moving me to the table and that's all she wrote Next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room and a nurse telling me that it was all over and everything was fine
