Pics and WOW moment

I've, of course, had little WOW moments here or there, and things that made me feel good, but this is my first big one where I just had to sit and say, well, "Wow!" Yesterday was my three month surgi-versary (pics on my profile or on the WWW below), and I thought, "What the heck, I am going to try on that pair of size 16 jeans that's been hanging in the closet since I lost weight with Weigh****chers a few years ago." As I tried them on I just kept expecting the waist to catch at my hips or not be able to get them up at all. As I got them up with no problem, I grabbed onto both sides of the zipper expecting that I was going to have to suck in my gut and pulllllllllllllllll that together tightly. Nope! Buttoned and zipped easily. I just couldn't believe it! I had the biggest darn grin on my face as I went flying downstairs to show my family! This pair of jeans is the only 16 I have. I have gone through all my fat clothes sizes since this surgery. This means I am *forced* to go shopping! All of this in three months. Imagine, I started out pre-op in a size 24!! This is just absolutely amazing! Beth 315/255/180/??

YAY BETH!! You are looking soooo great!! I remember being so happy to get into my 16s, 14s, and some 12s. Can you imagine once you start posting about getting into single digits, or TENS??? The whole thing is unreal. I'm also a purse ***** so I have to comment. That brown handbag in the photo on the chair? ADORABLE!! I must have it! Where did you buy it?? Congrats again, and keep up the great work. Just think....many more wows are coming your way!

Thanks Allison! I can barely imagine getting into single digits. I was last a 9 back in the dark ages!! lol The brown handbag is actually my mom's, so I can't say. I will ask my mom and let you know!! Beth
