What is your one month, two month, three month and four month goals?
Well let's see I haven't
the pounds off but they have been coming off slowly......
1. What is your one month goal?
to loose 20 pounds and not to dump-----hurray I met that goal
2. What is your two month goal?
to loose another 20 pounds and try to get all my water, protein in
and of couse not to dump-----well I did everything except I dumped
twice-and not throwing up--I don't know what is worst.....But I
haven't had to experience throwing up yet......fish and chips and only
after taking two bites did me in and one protein bar once.
3. What is your three month goal?
Again to loose another 20 pounds a month and try harder to drink my
100 oz of water my doctor wants me to drink..I feel like floating away.
Not quite 3 months yet..I get back to you
4. What is your four month goal?
hopefully to hit my 100 pounds gone forever.....And then go get a
massage and live it up then go get a nice picture taken of me......
Not at 4 four months yet...I will get back to you
Good luck to everyone......Looking forward to seeing everyone at graduation next January 2007.....Hurray to all the grads

I regret that I didn't have solid goals.
My biggest goal was to return to work as quickly as possible. Due to complications I was afraid that wouldn't happen, but 13 days after my surgery I returned to work. That was super!
I had planned to buy a treadmill by my first month out. I ended up joining Curves instead. I have tried to be committed to going. At one month out I was still a little weak, and had to take a break from the exercise, as I was going through some healing pains... but I am going regularly. Yeah for me.
As far as numbers I am glad that I didn't have set goals, because I have not been losing very fast. I had hoped that I would be down 50 by my 3rd month out... I am only at -35... so I am a little disappointed...
I have thought about setting goals for the upcoming months, but at the pace that I am losing, I am afraid of the disappointment. Only losing 5-10 pound per month is not the pace I expected during my honeymoon.
Congrats to you girls on meeting your goals!!!
Keep up the great work!!!

I haven't really set month goals, but lets see what happened... lol
Month One: Introduction to my pouch, Pookie. I learned so much about myself this month... triggers, motivations, etc. I didn't make any goals to weigh anything since I was just happy to have the surgery.
Month Two: I wanted to be able to weigh on my home scale which was up to 340 pounds ( was able to!
) I also wanted to make my protein and water intake goals (80g and 60 oz)... made 'em sometimes. I also wanted to be under 300 pounds at my 3 month appointment... Made It!
Month Three: Made the three month/under 300 pounds goal. This month, I hope to lose 100 pounds since surgery (to be 282- according to docs)... only a few to go! I also want to go to the school gym everyday that I am at school even if I'm working! (Still working on it lol) Take my vitamins EVERY day!
Month Four: Wow, I'm stumped... hopefully to shimmy into size 24 pants and a few shirts instead of baggy 26s. I also want to reach all of my protein and water needs (80g and over 60oz) and take my vitamins.
Same for Month Five.
I have another doctor appointment for six months... I am hoping to be down 120 from surgery (doc's goal) but it would be so SWEET to be down 150 or more!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Suzan and Jan's.
I did my goals a little differently. I always need to break goals down into smaller bites to feel success more often.
So:
I made 10 pound goals.
Time does not matter- we each have our own internal clocks.
It's worked!!!
3 Month Surgiversary on the 19th and as of today down 69#'s from surgery.
Now to be perfectly frank-- my first big goal is to get to under 300#'s. and I can see it through the mist now!!!!
I 'll reset the longer/interim goal when I reach 299 and still keep my 10# smaller goals in place.
I had a 2 month bout with post=operative infections, c-diff, but am slowly conquering that. So now, it's strengthing, H2O, protein, and remembering to take each pound lost as a huge victory!!
Kudos to all of you!!
