Another reason for the season holiday.

Happy Easter, Hazel!
This morning I just had my usual milky oatmeal breakfast and for noon, JB and I and our two sons, Danny (his wife had to be at her aunt's house) and DereK (living at homre still) all went to Stamford Estates, a retirement residence where mother lives now . Everyone ate salad, buns, ham, sweet potatoes, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy with banana Fosters for dessert.
I drank a glass of tomato juice and a cup of decaffinated tea...I wasnt hungry and was still satisfied from the oatmeal. And it didnt bother me at all about not eating. I gave both boys and hubby a chocolate bunny with crispies in the milk choclate..I bought Mother a sweet gold-foiled choclate bunny with a red ribbon collar and a tiny golden bell. I bought my mother-in-law a bar of dark European choclate whicxh she loves tho she is almost 91 and has alzheimers. And I wrapped an Easter box of Cadbury cream eggs for daught in law because she loves them!
Usuually Id buy twice as much because I had to...er..pre-test..the quality of each piece first . Not THIS year! The choclate...its a miracle!!... doesnt bother me at all!
We just got home and Im typing and eating my cottage cheese and canned pineapple and thats enough for me..no cravings yet..still no hunger...for me, Easter was being with my family...doesnt need food for me.
TomorrowI will have a turkey and a ham roasted with all the trimmings for everyone here including some invited guests, friends of the boys, who have no dinner to go to. I still cant seem to eat denser foods so I will prepare and serve happily..I dont have a clue what I will eat then..doesnt matter to me! *s* Its all so strange!
