Hair loss, knew it would come

Started to loose my hair. There are times it is pretty good amounts. I did everything they said to keep it from happeneing, but knew that there was nothing I could do to stop it. Took my protein and biotin religiously. Yes, it upsets me, but what can I do. May have to cut it shorter to help with the look, I know I wont go bald. Just wondering if others have started this yet. I am early Jan. surgery date.

I am so sorry to hear this. My surgeon asked me about it last week and so far my experience is no. My date was the 11th. in the last week I feel like my hair is flat and thinner but dont notice any loss as of yet. Post a pic with your shorter hair so we can admire! Tiffany

Thank you for making me smile. It's that time of the month and I get emotional easy, so it's been depressing for me today. I get thru it because I know it will pass, but I needed a smile.

Mine has started to fall out too. My protein levels have been 80-100gms a day since a couple weeks after surgery. We'll just have to deal with it I guess. When I shower is when I notice it the most (in my fingers!). Chele

Yah they shower has become a mess for me. I have alot of hair, but it is around the front of the hair line that I can see it thinning. Not sure how good I am going to look with bangs, haven't had them since I was a kid. I am thinking of a shag type style. I look better if I have hair down my neck, even now, and that might be the only style that will work for me now.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I hoped and prayed that some how some way us Januarians would start a new trend with no hair loss.......Ugh, I have hair down to my waist and am complemented on it all the time......its my only good feature.......OK enough whining......thanks for the warning.

Say it isn't so Kristi!!! I have noticed the past week that I have had hair in my fingers after running them through it but choose to put a blind eye to it in disbelief. I'm not emotionaly ready for thinning hair yet....wait, I don't think I'll EVER be ready for it. Dawn

I know, I turned a blind eye to it for a week or so, my daughter said she saw it before I did. I'm not ready either. But guess we will all go thru it together and maybe start a new hair style trend if we all change our haircuts to make us look better. Yours is already great though

Hi Kristi Sorry to hear about your hair. My surgery was the day before your's. I guess I'm lucky cause I haven't experienced this yet. But I have very thick hair. Maybe it is and I just haven't noticed yet. The good news is, it grows back Hang in there girlfriend. It will get better Regards and hugs, Ronna
