Surgery update

Well I talked to my sister and she sounds like herself....amazing how pain management can do the trick huh?? She also asked me to say thanks to all of you great people for all the well wishes!! She has been up walking around and has been eating well so far. I am hoping that she will go home tomorrow, we will see how things look. I am also going to call her back tonight and see how she is feeling. Thanks again for everyones support for her, it means the world to her right now!! Steph

I just wish I could be there for her physically. That has been hard on me, but it was my decision to move across the country..oh well. Thanks for the kind words, I let her know what everyone says everytime I talk with her. She loves the support from everyone for sure, it has meant a lot to her for everyone being so kind!! Hi Lynda!! Just wanted to poke my head in and say hi to ya!! I know it's been quite a while. Been struggling quite a bit myself over the winter with food issues that finally landed me into therapy but I am making progress and I am quite happy with that. However, in that process...other stuff is coming out that needed to so I have a feeling what I thought would be a relatively short bout of therapy may now turn out to be a bit longer than I had originally anticipated. Anywho...It has had me thinking much more than normal and much more introspective than maybe any other time in my life. We love our new place out here in the country and the peace and quiet make for great therapy for me too. Yesterday, I spent an hour reading "Tuesdays With Morrie", by Mitch Albom in our sunroom. I had my binoculars handy so I could watch my bird feeders when I had a "visitor" while I was reading. It was so quiet and I had many visitors. I just love it here. Well...hope you are doing well and sorry for not keeping in better touch. It has been difficult for me with all the emotional stuff going on in my head these last 6 months or so. Be good my friend and say "hi" to everyone for me...PLEASE!!!...Cap'n K-Man
