YOUR theme song

Ok, So I was driving home from the tanning salon, feeling pretty darn good about myself. (Last year I couldn't gather the never to step foot in the place---too embarrassed of myself) It's not too often that I get to drive completely alone, so when I do the radio is blasting and I am signing like a nut. Well, a song came on that I had heard before but never really listened to the words. This time I did and I felt like this was my "theme song" for WLS. It was called "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. Here is a snipit of the song (emphasis added to MY parts ) Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, NO ONE ELSE CAN SPEAK THE WORDS ON YOUR LIPS Drench yourself in words unspoken LIVE YOUR LIFE WITH ARMS WIDE OPEN TODAY IS WHERE YOUR BOOK BEGINS The rest is still unwritten So what's your theme song? What song's lyrics captured you and made you evaluate you new life with WLS? Dawn

I have a theme song, too!!! I've liked it for a long time, but since my surgery, I am finding a bigger connection, and so I claim it as my theme... It gets my blood pumping and reminds me that my success is my responsibility... and I intend to make myself proud! "Proud" By Heather Small It's the Biggest Loser song! I love it and it empowers me! I look into the window of my mind Reflections of the fears I know I've left behind I step out of the ordinary I can feel my soul ascending I am on my way Can't stop me now And you can do the same What have you done today to make you feel proud? It's never too late to try What have you done today to make you feel proud? You could be so many people If you make that break for freedom What have you done today to make you feel proud? Still so many answers I don't know Realize that to question is how we grow So I step out of the ordinary I can feel my soul ascending I am on my way Can't stop me now And you can do the same Chorus We need a change Do it today I can feel my spirit rising We need a change So do it today 'Cause I can see a clear horizon Chorus

Hi Dawn, I don't have a theme song, I will have to get back to you on that one. But I did want to tell you I LOVE that song! The first time I heard it was when Katherine sang it on American Idol, and I loved it then, though I had no idea who sang it. Then yesterday I bought a new Cd, NOW 21, because it had Photograph by nickelback and Because Of You be Kelly Clarkson on it, and I love those songs too! But guess what, it also has Unwritten on it! Great CD!!! Karyn
