Today makes 3!

Today is my 3 month surgiversary!!!! I'm down 55 lbs. (maybe more...haven't weighed yet this week). And.....yesterday I went shopping because it was just so nasty outside to do anything else. Got some tops in XL, but didn't put them on to see if they would fit. Then we went to the mall, and I really liked this shirt from The Limited. Well I tried on the XL...it was too big!!! So I tried on the L and it was still a little loose, but got it anyway. I can fit some L tops!!!! And when I got home I tried on the other clothes...one of the tops are way too big and it's an XL. My bottoms don't have a big change...an 18 in stretch, but that's okay with me. I have a big booty. Not only that, but I rather my top be smaller than my bottom so it looks like I have some kind of shape. But I'm so proud of myself right now. I'm going to Vegas in a couple of weeks and I can't wait. I got some new clothes (might buy some more now that they're smaller). Pictures to follow! You're right!! It IS our Surgiversary!! The 123ers! I think I'll post a separate post for us. I think it's awesome that you are in a 18! You SHOULD be proud! 55lbs is outstanding. Chele

Happy Surgiversary to all of us 123'ers! I am down 57 pounds since surgery and feel great! You go girl with the smaller sizes! i haven't quite made it to a large yet, my top is bigger than my bottom, but i am in a size 18/20 from a 26/28! Keep up the great woek April, you are doing awesome! Karyn

((((((Twinee aka Ruthie)))))) I do believe that it is something in the air..maybe it's because the change in the weather..or even day-light savings time..who knows! Anyways, we are not alone. Times are tuff..but not as tuff as they could be right? I went to support group Tuesday...for the second time. I really had to make myself go..do ya know what I mean?? It is so hard going to a group meeting. I could think of a million excuses why I should just stay home. Everyone was really nice and welcoming, but I know what you mean about feeling like an outsider. We may all need to have a virtual crying party, bring your favorite virtual sappy chick flick, the hot-air popcorn w/ the "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"spray, and don't forget the tissue, we all need a good cry. I'm there for ya twinee! Let's those mirrors! HugsGinger
