Quite disgusted.
I had always wondered if other had the same problem....I go regularly usually everyday sometimes several times a day. But as I get closer to my period my colon "evacutes" all its contents for a day or 2. It is usually during this time that I have the "footlongs +" . I suffered before surgery from IBS and since surgery havent had the issue with diarrehea/constipation that I had prior to revision. Yeah we keep a plunger handy....LOL
Dawn
I had a lot of trouble loosing weight before the surgery.
They said it was because it is harder to loose weight whe you are diabetic.
Good news is that since I had the surgery, I have had no problems with blood sugars.
Be sure to check your sugar before you go to sleep.
I cut down on the carbs to try to loose weight, and go several Low blood sugar readings.
I used Atkins Protein drinks to substitute for more difficult meals. Like hurried breakfasts, this helped a lot.
Good Luck, and keep walking
I suggest that you read (and follow) "Pouch Rules for Dummies." Even though I got to goal without any major hurdles, I wasn't very good about my water intake and exercise. I recently read the rules and have been following them. I find that I am not hungry and that I have decreased my caloric intake by about 300-500 calories per day. This has enabled me to lose (so far) 4 of the 8 pounds that I regained after reaching goal.

Good luck.
