Need HELP!!!
Today is my "rest" day. I'm training myself for some upcoming walkathons/races. We have a 5K Walkathon coming up on May 13, only 3.1 miles and I was able to walk a little more than that last night. Tomorrow, I plan to walk 4 miles twice, once in the morning an once in the afternoon. I need to build that up to 6 miles twice a day by 6/10. I'm an alternate in an upcoming Relay race (run/walk) and I need to be able to do that if someone else can't. It's really cool because all the members of the team have been MO. I really wanted to commit to being a participant but because of family obligations, I may not be able to go. Another support group buddy challenged me to walk a marathon in LA next year. I told her I would try, no guarantees. I told her I didn't think I could walk that far (26 miles) but a year ago I didnt' think I could lose 100+ lbs either.
Congrats on your weight loss, you are doing great!
Linda
273/166/135-150?
Brave girl! Thank you so much for sharing this honest post. I often feel out of control and worried, but I don't usually post about it, because I don't want to admit it or I'm afraid of the responses. I, too, really still struggle with overeating and fear of overeating. You have helped me immensely with this post.
I want to make a commitment, too. My commitment for this week is no more ice cream in the afternoons and sitting down to a real dinner at night (rather than eating while I prepare food and then feeling too guilty to have a meal).
Again, thank you so much!
Cathy

Ronna

Hi Janet,
Congrats on the 58 pounds, that is wonderful.
I want to encourage you to get on the posting that Special Kay does every day. What's on your menu. THis is a place where we share what we eat each day.
I am sure each one of us will fall a time or two or maybe even a hundred. THe important thing is that we get right back on the program. I had a week's worth of really poor eating when my daughter was in the hospital. Now that she is home I am trying to make up for it and be especially diligent with my efforts.
God bless,
Jen
