Sending you good vibes. I hope you get it. Thats what my cousin does and she loves it. She even took my blood while I was in the hospital after surgery. kristi

Thanks Kristi!! I love it too, I took a class when I lived in Alaska and just couldnt get enough of it!! I have been doing something in the medical field for almost 10 years and taking this long of a break has been really hard!! Thanks for the vibes! I will let you all know what happens. Steph

No gym for me today. I did some heavy gardening after the morning rain, digging sod out (we're removing the remainder of our front lawn -- the trendy thing to do in the desert here). Eileen

Breakfast was the main meal of the day pre-op...good old farm boy here...bicuits, gravy, bacon, ham, eggs, grits...if mamma put on the table, we were expected to clean it up. You eat like you was raised...hmm???I wonder why I was 400 lbs??? Post op...I rarely eat breakfast...that's not to say I don't get my protein in...I just don't eat first thing in the morning anymore. I'm up at 5 or 530, at the gym at 6 and a hour or two workout, depending on the workday. I usually make a protein shake/smoothie/slurpee and sip on that throughout the morning workout. Gets in a 150 cal or so, a load of protein and I'm good till noon. I have a tendency to eat my main meal of the day at this time, usually cheese or cottage cheese, tuna or something like that. SUpper is soup usually, lighter fare, and no eating after 7 pm. I 'sort of' miss that old farm breakfast, but anymore...I'm on the water or on the road with the bicycle, protein shake or protein bar instead, and I feel much better, and fitter than ever before.

Wow, good thread I used to eat whatever I could buy that was bad for me. Two or Three egg mcmuffins..or a couple of taylor ham-egg and cheese on a hard roll sandwiches. Now. I eat every two to three hours, so breakfast is just a word. I get up and have a protein shake and a small piece of pumpernickel smeared with goat cheese. Three hours later (post workout) I have a hardboiled egg and a cup of oatmeal. Two hours later, a 3oz can of tuna. That's all pre-noon I also get up at 5am. I'm still amazed I eat so often and still keep my calories low enough to loose weight. ;) Ironically, my caloric intake for a day is less then what I used to have for breakfast.

MMMM Breakfast, my favorite. Well before surgery I was a large 8-10" diam chicken fried steak w/ sausage gravy, hash browns, 3 large eggs over medium, 2 pieces of wheat toast, 1 large pancake, a pot of coffee. Then I would start planning lunch. This was my favorite Bill Johnson's Big Apple breakfast here in PHX. Now I go to the same place and order 1 egg beater scrambled w/1 slice of bacon. Whew I am stuffed after that. There profits have gone down about 5%. hehe. I just tell myself I had plenty of those big meals in my life, don't have to worry about feeling cheated.

Michelle, You are so creative with your recipes...I love feta cheese! I'm gonna try the scrambled eggs, cheese, spinach and tomato.
